The Predator Pro features Steiner's exclusive Color Adjusted Transmission (CAT) lens coating that enhances brown and red colors against foliated backgrounds, making game "pop" from a wooded background. Using this proprietary coating system, Steiner's 12x40 Predator Pro offers bright and crisp images, enhancing the binocular's effectiveness at dusk and dawn.

The 12x40 Predator Pro uses unique Steiner's Sports Auto-Focus system that, once set for the user's eyes, keeps all subjects in focus at distances from approximately 30 yards to infinity.
